Hello,

Is there a way to add an Issue Category to the Software / Online Systems Ticket type and have it appear at the top of the page above where it says ‘Which software or online system is this related to?  I was unable to find a guide for this Ticket Type so can you please share if you are aware of one?

Additionally the search box isn’t working.  Anything that I type in the box comes up with ‘No results found’.

There’s not a way to make it go to the top like you’re asking, but you can clean up that page a bit.

Software are treated like assets in iiQ, so you have to create a Model Category (such as the Business, Learning Applications, etc that you see in your screenshot), and then all of your software titles are Models under each category.

We didn’t like how spread out everything was, so we created a Model Category under Software called “General” and then created all of our own titles from scratch as Models under the “General” category.

It took time for us to build it out, but it’s easier to look at in my opinion.

@jclark16 Love this workflow. Thank you for sharing what you do!

@Robert Cebula I would do the same as @jclark16 has posted! Please take a look at this idea that is COMMITTED to upvote and comment and see it make it across the finish line 😄

Thanks for the suggestion.  We did group all the software together under one category for our district as we felt it looked more organized that way.

The software search is still not working.  What can we do about that?

@Robert Cebula Please submit a support ticket for your search trouble. I am not entirely sure why it is not searching when you have other models visible under your issues. 🤷

Will do, thanks.
