Many districts want to send a policy to staff members when an asset is checked out to them at the beginning of the school year. This is simple with Incident IQ’s Policy Manager app and rules engine.

Within the rules engine, start creating the rule under Asset Select; the trigger is “When checked out.”
Then add your filters and the action of “Send policy acceptance alert” and select the policy that you created.
In the example above, when a new device is assigned or checked out to a user in the role of “faculty, staff” the policy “Acceptable Use Policy” will be sent to the user.
