Current Issue.  Assigned Room. I know the actual staff member can do this in their own profile. I know I can do it manually one room at a time.  I know that -  I cannot import that value en-masse. Beyond that, I have no clue…. I would love to have a master list that tells me what all of the possible methods are for being able to bulk update any/all values within the platform.  I *think* that the SIS tools are able to *maybe* touch that value.  However, we have a “homeroom” value, and an “assigned room” value, and I don’t believe they are the same things.  Also, if these values can be sourced from the SIS, we need to be able to know exactly which data table and data field has the value that gets ingested into incidentIQ This is just one example of one field.  I would love to have a master location, to be able to see all available options to work with it.

When a user is set to no access, what happens to the ticket history for that user? Are you still able to search for tickets based on the user with the no access role?I know in the documentation it states that setting users to no access hides them from most searches, but I didn’t see anything say which ones. Thanks!

Where is this option enabled or disable in IIQ ? It seems to be disabled for most of our users

Our faculty have two separate email addresses through their Google Workspace account and their M365 account. Most faculty consider their Microsoft account their primary email, but SSO is done through Google Workspace and their google email is what is maped to their user email field.  Is there a way to keep Google for SSO but map their 365 email addresses as a second address and make all ticketing emails flow through 365?

This there anything on the “back end” of IIQ that the Incident IIQ Admin has outside of the permissions we can control. Asked another way, Is an Agent who is given every permission option equivalent to an IIQ Admin with every permission option?

What’s the difference?

When I go to manage Google SSO, I see there is an “ADD NEW DOMAIN” button. Will this let me add an additional Google Workspace domain for SSO?If so, will identical OU’s in each domain be able to be treated differently for user import? For instance, each domain has a “/Students” OU.We have a charter school that has it’s own independent Google Workspace domain and we’d like to import those users as well, but when we do OU location mapping, we need to be able to put those users in the correct location.

Is there a way to email a receipt to the student or parent once you check in and unassign a user from a device?  We are having issues with students stating they turned in their device but they are still assigned to it and can’t prove it one way or the other with 2900 devices in storage.  Or does anyone have a suggestion as to how to better maintain “checked in” device accuracy?

HiWe are currently working on pulling fees / payment (eg. stylus, charger lost , etc) of each student .Is there an API endpoint for that? Or when we use customized Views (User -- Views -- ) in IIQ UI to export csv file manually,if we add columns, there are only total balance, Laptop related items, etc, it doesn’t have options that shows specific items and fees. Do you guys know if there’s an alternative approach to that? Thanks very much!

I just had some questions about device assignments. When we assign a user to a device would the nightly syncs cause the device to go back to chrome-enroll? My other question is if a user logs in to another students device does that device now assign ownership to the student that borrowed/used the chromebook?

Staff role users are not able to add followers to tickets and we’d like to be able to grant some access.

I have one user whom I have made an Agent and since adding him as an agent he has no Role permissions. I have verified that the Agent role has set permissions, but it doesn’t update for the user. In an attempt to correct this, I have removed his role, added another role, deleted and re-imported his profile with the role addition/removal again and nothing is working. His permissions show no role policies.

Hello,We use the Infinite Campus API.  Is there a way to define what is displayed in the students “Classes” section?  We would like to add the teacher name.  Thanks, Glenn

Hi everyone,I’m wondering if it’s possible for an agent’s Labor Type to automatically display when they go to enter their time on a ticket. In Layla Stone’s post from a year ago on Labor Types, it mentions:“Upon logging in, the Agent field will automatically display the user’s name, and the Date field will show the current date.”It seems logical that their Labor Type would also auto-populate so they don’t have to scroll through the 25 Labor Types we currently have listed.Questions:Is there a way to make Labor Type autofill based on the agent? Or am I using Labor Types incorrectly? Should I just leave the three original types (Weekend, Standard, OT)? I created additional Labor Types because I update hourly rates for each agent and thought I needed to update Labor Types too. If both don’t need to be updated, and I keep only the three defaults, will labor hours still calculate correctly?Any guidance or best practices would be greatly appreciated!

We are struggling with trying to find a way to create a ticket, using a ticket template, based on a user rule.  We can get all actions to work except “Create Ticket”The use case is if we have a user go to “No Access” that still has a device assigned we would like to create a ticket. We would also like to use this to trigger a ticket when we update a user to indicate they are leaving the district and we need to collect assigned devices. The user rules have the option to create a ticket but we have not been able to get it to work.

Hi,I would like to know if our district’s iiQ login page can be customized to post a help desk phone number or a link to our “How To Log In” document to guide our parent users in the district in using this system. Thank you.

Not having a timeline for users the way assets do is a pain, as the revisions lists every sync with SIS and you have to scroll forever to find things like a device assignment. Is there a way to filter the results?

I’m getting emails from multiple users at our site that they are unable to login using Google SSO, but when I check their profiles in IIQ it shows that their accounts are all “authenticated by GoogleSSO provider”Unsure how to resolve this issue. Should I delete the faulty profiles and re-sync? The profiles were all imported in the same way, so why are only certain users reporting issues?

I’ve set up some fees using the Fee Tracker app using the Knowledge Base article. The one thing it didn’t show was how to assign a fee. I’ve looked and can’t seem to find how to do it. I do see a section under a user but that’s to generate a statement. How do I assign a fee?

We have a custom user field that we use to track device insurance policy information, we allow multiple instances of the field. When exporting users with this field as a column, it’s exported as [‘Instance 1’, ‘Instance 2’] however, I am not able to import using the same format such as [‘Instance 3’, ‘Instance 4’]. Instead of importing Instance 3 and Instance 4 into their own field instances, it instead imports as “[‘Instance 3’, ‘Instance 4’]” into the first field instance. Is it possible to import two sets of data into two field instances? Like shown below

I would like for IIQ admin to have the ability to edit all Agents “out of office” settings .

How do I add pictures to an open ticket?

Good morning!  I have an organization that my school system works with that has several individuals who may book spaces for different professional development sessions, etc.  There is not one (or two, or three) central person (people) who coordinate(s) the scheduling, and it would be impossible for them to make that happen. So, is there a way to add additional contacts to an organization?  I can find nothing that would lead me to believe so, but I also am certain I am able to miss  something.  If there is not, has anyone had a similar experience and found a way to work around it? Thank you in advance for any help you can provide!

I am searching for a student User and he is not found (although his guardian is).I have searched through the logs for my connected apps (Google and Skyward) and found him, so he should be there. What gives? I don’t have any filters set.
