Question

Why can't I add policies to user?

I have one user whom I have made an Agent and since adding him as an agent he has no Role permissions. I have verified that the Agent role has set permissions, but it doesn’t update for the user. In an attempt to correct this, I have removed his role, added another role, deleted and re-imported his profile with the role addition/removal again and nothing is working. His permissions show no role policies.

Hey @JCondon 193f356 paulschool,

Looking at your current permission policy, it looks like you don’t have a dedicated ‘Agent’ role policy currently assigned so any Agent role user who is not VB will not be assigned a policy. You do have one policy currently set up for ‘Agent’, but it is associated with VB. Because of this and because of permissions being additive, VB would be the only agent getting the permission.

I would recommend creating a specific ‘Agent’ role policy and this should resolve the issue. If you DM me the user, I can verify that this is the occurrence that you’re currently seeing.

Here’s our guide to help understand the Permissions configuration:

Hopefully, this information helps!

Thank you! That worked.
