Our district is brand new to iiQ this year and need to be able to rapid scan current inventory to check for inventory accuracy.For example; I checked in all of my Chromebooks during EOY collection. Now I want to rapid scan them all again to make sure they all scanned in correctly. But I can't find anywhere in iiQ where I can just do a rapid scan of current, mostly checked in inventory without having to manually clear the field to scan the next barcode. This is extremely time consuming as I have around 2,000 Chromebooks in my office. I just want to be able to re-scan inventory at any given time without having to clear out the scan field after every barcode. Is there a way to do this? I’m not an admin, just an agent with limited permissions. 

This is via the Google Devices app.I created several Asset Statuses and Mapped them under the General Settings tab. However, active devices are showing up as Deprovisioned/Disposed, and I’m not sure why.  I have reauthenticated the app, pushed data, and run a sync, but active devices are still showing in IIQ with the incorrect asset status.

Why is updating the cost of a part is complicated? The BOT initially referred me to Import Parts which does not have Unit Cost. When I mentioned that, it corrected itself and told me to Import Inventory. Which I did, then I noticed that it skipped the part because it was saying that no parts are found. Long story short, I exported the part, updated the cost and import the file. Then had to made sure that Qty Available at Location(s) is mapped to Location even though that field is empty before it allowed me to import the inventory and change the Avg Cost. There has to be a easier way of updating this...

This there anything on the “back end” of IIQ that the Incident IIQ Admin has outside of the permissions we can control. Asked another way, Is an Agent who is given every permission option equivalent to an IIQ Admin with every permission option?

Georgia SB 369 – Parts, Repair Costs, and Break/Fix Reporting Our district is preparing for SB 369 technology reporting requirements (O.C.G.A. § 20-2-1018). Starting in 2027. This new law covers educational technology over $100, including computers, tablets, interactive whiteboards, and related hardware/software. Georgia school systems must report the following information for the previous school year:• Total technology devices in operation • Break/fix rate (Need Help with this)• Devices requiring repair • Devices repaired or left out of service • Total repair/replacement costs (How do i get info for items repaired multiple times)I'm working with my IIQ CSM but also seeking input from the community. Hello, I have a .csv file with key information such as serial number, asset number and Owner School ID. I need to update these assets with the new owner information (Owner School ID) in bulk.  How do I go about doing that? Thanks.

On the IncidentIQ Phone AppWhere in the ticket that is submitted can we make a comment?Where can we view a teachers reply to that comment in their ticket?For instance if a teacher sends a request for tech help, where can I comment a reply with the option to be notified when the do reply?  Also if they send a response to that reply sent by our tech dept, where do you view that? 

Often, we need to search quickly for a ticket by using a particular word, and nothing comes up.  Even searching in Assets, the search usually doesn’t yield any results when doing a quick search for a keyword.  This is very frustrating, and we would like this to be improved.Also, is there a contact number for support, or do we contact our previous sales rep or trainer???

I tried to create a rule that will email a team one year after a staff member leaves so they remember to go back and delete the account. I added a custom field to my ticket template called “follow up date.” When the agent creates the offboarding ticket, they enter a date one year from that day in that field. Then I created a rule with the On a Schedule trigger to look every day at 7am and see if they find a ticket that is Resolved with a Follow Up Date of today and email the team. But I’ve done two test runs now, and I’m not getting the email. I’m guessing that I set up the rule incorrectly, but I have no idea how to fix it. Any help is greatly appreciated. 

Was just walking some of our agents through dashboard options and they do not have the Tickets by Agent or Tickets by Team. Are these limited to iiQ Administrators only or should all agents have them?

Hey IIQ,Please bring back the Help Center button! As great as the Support Bot may be it doesn’t account for when there’s platform degradation, browser or user account issues.For platform resilience and user support during critical service disruptions, I strongly recommend implementing a static Help Center link. Twice now I have had critical platform issues and wasn’t able to get to what I needed as the Support Bot wasn’t present. Alternative methods all failed. Cache, signing out and in, alternative browsers or incognito mode, didn’t bring Support Bot back. This dependency resulted in significant lost time and delayed critical support for multiple staff members, forcing us to use inefficient workarounds. Something as simple as help should easily be found when tunnel vision sets in as we try to remedy some critical issues affecting multiple agents and staff. This isn’t a suggestion to outright rollback to Help Center only but this static link would ensure uninterrupted access to critica

An Unassigned device is just that… unassigned.Why wouldn’t Previous Owner ignore an “Unassigned” and retain the actual Previous Owner?We need this for backtracking and reports.Unassigned is NOT an Owner.Does anybody have any thoughts?Our typical process is Owner uses device, device is returned and Unassigned/Check-in, then device gets reissued to an Owner again.With this process, we lose the 1st Owner information.  It doesn’t make any sense.

Good morning! What’s the best way to setup IIQ for the following idea?  My tech will submit a ticket for a broken screen and perform the repair.  After he is done, I want to get notified that I will now need to generate an invoice for the student and their family.  I feel like I’m over thinking it, but wanted to see what others have set up. Thanks!

I have an issue where requesters can see internal comments even when we dont click the “visible to requestor” button.  I checked the users role and he is faculty.  Any suggestions on why this might be happening?  I’ve looked at the settings, but some of the items that look like they would need to be unchecked look as if it will mess their account up.  Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello! Quick question for the group - How do you handle things like desktop phones, SMARTboards, and the OP modules that are usually in the back of the SMARTboard.  Do you assign these users or just assign them to the room and flag them as a facility device? We are currently rebuilding our inventory and wondering how others handle these items.

Hello, I am wondering if there is a way to move tickets from “Ticketing” and reassign to Facilities or Human Resources module?

Can someone help me out? I’m having a heck of a time with my asset data. Push Data has worked for me in the past. I have uploaded a few CSVs and ran a full sync beforehand and afterwards. All of my Data in IIQ is good, but I can’t get data to go back to Google. Everytime I do, it just goes from 0 to 100 and syncs nothing to Google. I have Annotated Location and and Annotated User set to flow to GoogleDeviceData in one direction, and I have cleared my cache and I have removed and re-added my authentication token, then reauthenticated, all looks good. But it just won’t work and I need the updated data in Google Admin and Getter. Is there anything else I can try?
