This there anything on the “back end” of IIQ that the Incident IIQ Admin has outside of the permissions we can control. Asked another way, Is an Agent who is given every permission option equivalent to an IIQ Admin with every permission option?

Hey Dave — great question! Not exactly. There are a handful of features that are inherently tied to the Administrator role and can't be granted through permissions alone.

A few that come to mind are:

  • User File Attachment capabilities

  • The default dashboard reports Open Tickets by Location and Open Tickets by Agent (these are only visible to administrators)

  • Approval Override capability (if you're using EAW)

There may be a few others, but those are the main ones that come to mind. So while an Agent can be given nearly every available permission, they still won't be fully equivalent to an iiQ Administrator.
