Wellness Check - Are you still standing after Device Deployment?

I know it has been rough for @Cozmo03 and @bclark who emailed me a “Proof of Life” photo to show they are surviving! 

Device handout happens every year, but why does it have to be a 115 degrees heat index? That is killer!!!

Second year of device checkout with IIQ and it went much smoother this year. We changed up the flow and added more stations for parents to walk up to to start the checkout process. Once major time waste for us is still only allowing one item to be checked out per scan with batch checkout. We still have to copy/paste the student ID so we can checkout the charger from storage as well. A super awesome feature to add to batch checkout would be the ability to allow for more than 1 device to be checked out for the same student without having to scan or input their ID again (yes, I have it on the idea board already 😂)

You can go in the Admin Settings, if you have rights, you can change the checkout count to 2 items, if you do checkout the chargers to the students. Maybe discuss with your director or IIQ Admin.

Hold the phone…...this is news to me! I have admin rights and have never seen this option. Could you point me in the right direction?

We have that set. What I’m looking for is the ability to scan or input an ID in batch checkout once and the system not reset after one device scan. If it could hold onto the user information so we can scan the second device that’s still in storage before clearing and ready for the next student.

Scan ID - Scan Device 1(Chromebook), Scan Device 2 (charger) - ready for next Student ID.

Ah gotcha, sorry to get you all excited for nothing. Yeah that would be great feature! As Kathryn The Great says, that will make a great idea for the Community. 😂

It looks like I posted an idea for allowing multiple devices in one slot of a storage bin and never anything about multiple scans for batch checkout/in. Off to the Idea board I go!
