@KWondra 690b593 usd266 Thank you for submitting your question to our community! 😄

I am confused about your request; if you are scanning the devices, once you scan it, it should check the device in.

When we scan it in Batch Checkin the asset tag appears but then you have to manually hit enter for it to process.  I beleive last year it did the automatically.  Not sure if there is a setting that I need to change but have not found it as of yet.  Really slows down the process.

@KWondra 690b593 usd266 That sounds like it is not functioning as intended. Please submit a ticket to support for this:

Often the scanner will have a setting that tells it to add a return after it scans if that is what you want. I suggest checking the user manual for the scanner - there will be a barcode that you scan that instructs the scanner to add the return.

I have opened a ticket for this issue, thank you!

I had the same issue, then I factory reset my scanner. After that, it would automatically do the Enter key after scanning a barcode. My particular scanner didn’t have the option to change that according to the manual, but had the option to have many other keys after scanning a barcode. For some reason. But then I discovered that’s its default.

@KWondra 690b593 usd266 i agree with @dbreault that is may be related to your scanner.

I just tested this out with both iiQ check in features, Basic Check In, and Batch Check In (Rollout Scout), and it automatically does “enter” for me. Im using a basic cheap scanner when I’m testing.

I am having this issue as well in my district. My scanner is automatically scanning and hitting enter, but sporadically during mass check outs it will not hit enter and I will have to manually have to hit enter. Very inconvenient during mass Checkouts.
