Does anyone out there use the Zoho Assist Integration App in IIQ?  Looking for someone who can share their experience with this app!

Hey @SarahLawrence! Are you looking for documentation on setting it up or more user experience from other iiQ members?

What do others recommend for Remote Assist apps? What do you like/dislike about them? Is it better to integrate them with IIQ? We are currently using Jamf Remote on Macs. But that is being end of lifed. What are users in this community using?

Thank you.

@Cozmo03 as of right now, our most installed Remote Assistance Apps are Google Chrome Remote Assistance and Microsoft Quick Access Remote Assistance.

@malvarez can you provide some insight on the Google Chrome Remote Assistance?

@smcelmurray_iiQ or @jcritelli_iiQ do either of you have any reviews of the remote assistance apps?

@Jessica Adkins
We have used GCRA for student chromebooks during “Distance Learning” to troubleshoot issues with student chromebooks. It was challenging sometimes to get students to follow the directions within the ticket and find the links and codes on the side, so we opted for using Google Chat to interact with students during remote sessions. So when messaging was announced in iiQ we were ecstatic! Then deflated, when we found out that feature would be a premium add-on and not a basic function of the service like most RMM type systems.

We also have used “Quick Assist” from within iiQ with staff to similar results, opting to communicate with  requestors via Google Chat. We have since started using “Remote Help” a more versatile version of “Quick Assist” which makes getting an Admin permissions easier.

I would much prefer a built-in unattended access feature to remote into our connected systems.

@Jessica AdkinsI find that most districts I’ve worked with use either Google or Microsoft (if they’re a google vs microsoft shop) or Beyond Trust, but I think its really a preference as they all do similar things! Let me ask around and see what I come up with 🙂.

BeyondTrust is what we are using for Windows and Mac Devices.
