We’re setting up the Google Calendar app for events. We’ve mapped locations and we’ve mapped resources to building and rooms. What I’m seeing is that events on the primary Google calendar synced to IIQ show up, but no events from the resource calendars are being created in IIQ. Is there something additional needed to be completed before events on the resource calendars get created in IIQ?
At this time, you are only able to sync one calendar with Google in iiQ events. Please contact your CSM if you want to change up the calendar you are syncing with.

The benefit of connecting a calendar is to be able to write it back to a district-wide calendar for folks who aren’t in iiQ. There will be improvement in write-back capabilities, but we can only write to one calendar for now. You can provide that extra feedback to the idea. The thing that I want the most is for the availability of Google Resource Calendars that have been mapped to IQ Rooms to be visible in the Event Submission Process. For instance if you create a Google Calendar event and book a room the availability of that room is not visible in the event reservation process. The only events that are visible during that process are those linked to the a Google Calendar you have synced with IQ through the integrations app. I too am questioning the reason for linking Google Calendar Resources to rooms in IQ if you can't see their availability. This is a major pain point for us.
