Is it possible to change the Annotated (custom) user field, location and notes to write back to Google, so that any devices in our system match the information we have in Google Admin Console?
We want to edit these fields, but on the IIQ side. We have already created a Notes section, so we can change that when we edit an asset, but currently we cannot edit the Location or user in this section.
You can write-back some data. What I see in iiQ is this: “The following fields are supported for syncing from iiQ to googleDeviceData: AnnotatedLocation, AnnotatedUser, AnnotatedAssetId, Notes”
That info is under Apps>Google Devices>General tab, about 2/3 of the way down.

This will write the following:
Asset location from iiQ back to the Annotated Location field in Google Admin.
Assigned user’s email address from iiQ back to the Annotated User field in Google Admin.
Asset notes field from iiQ back to the Notes field in Google Admin.
You mentioned you’ve created a notes section, if this is a custom field it will not work. You'll have to use the built-in Notes field on the asset.
