Hello,

I’m looking to create a view with filters that exclude a device with a specific ticket name.  I can’t find out how to filter in that way.

Why? Our summer workflow is to open a ticket for a device (using a template) as we update or reimage it.  I’m trying to run a report on which devices we have left to do, as I’m sure some got left in a drawer and the like.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Alexander

@ataylororcsd Thank you for submitting your question to our community! 😄

I think I need some additional details. Is there a specific status these computers are located under? Or are these tied to a ticket status?

Hello,

They’re ticket statuses.  We have a ticket template so assets are scanned and then the template is applied to them.  I ultimetly want to show a list of assets that do not have a matching ticket created after July 1st.

Thanks!

@ataylororcsd All right, so if I understand correctly, you could create a custom view, but the filters will be the key. I think you could create the view that has the devices with that ticket issue created and then exclude those tickets and add the “last updated filter” before July 1st. What is that issue type called in your site?
