Hello group,

We’re looking to move iPads into IIQ and want to know what the best practices are.  We use JAMF as well, but feel like IIQ would be best to link them to staff and students properly. Anyone care to share some tips and tricks? Any help is appreciated.

We use Jamf Pro in our district. Our enrollment process is the following: Student logs into AD account on iPad> Jamf creates device in IIQ, which has all of the device info available, and because the AD account is linked to our SIS, which is also linked to IIQ, it links the staff and student accounts to the devices enrolled to them. That way, we do not have to manually map each staff and student to their devices. Not sure how similar that is to Jamf School, but that’s our device enrollment process.

Thank you @AWhipple for your feedback on this workflow.

@ahuff looks like you are getting your workflows up and running!

@AWhipple thank you for the information. Is your JAMF linked to Azure AD?

@ahuff No, we use Active Directory Domain Services (very out of date, slowly working on upgrading it). That is connected to Infinite Campus. From there, Campus syncs to IIQ for most information. Our log in is handled through GoogleSSO, as we have G- Suite for all staff and students (also comes from AD). Hope that answers your question, I’m not super familiar with the AD side of things, but I think that’s pretty much what happens.
