Assign owner to asset based on users assigned room

@RWatson Thank you for submitting your question. 

You cannot assign the device to a user based on location matching, as you have above. However, within my classes, teachers should be able to see all the devices assigned to their room! Is this what you are looking for? 

Yes, that is what I am looking for. So for devices assigned to their room they do not have to be assigned?

Thank you, We haven’t rolled out IQ yet and just testing it. I just tried assigning my test teacher to a room and I do see the equipment assigned to that room under “Suggested Favorites ( based on assigned rooms )” 

This was what I was looking for. Thank you for your help with this.

Do you know if there is anyway to auto favorite those items?

@RWatson yes, it should. I was trying to find a screenshot for you, but most teachers are not assigned rooms in SIS yet. 

I may be misunderstanding this, but at the moment when a teacher navigates to the “My Classes” tab and selects a class they don’t see any of the assets assigned to the room itself. However, they do see assets assigned to the students in their class. Is that what you meant?
