Bulk Asset

I am wanting to update multiple assets to different room locations. When using the template the action shows “create new”. These are not new assets just that i need each asset moved to a different room location. Is this the correct way to perform this action or is there a different option I need to try?

@weavercreede Thank you for submitting your question. Within the spreadsheet, ensure the action is listed as “updated” and not “Create new”. If it says “create new,” you will have a bunch of duplicate assets. 

As @Erica mentioned, make sure to only include the information you need as to reduce the room for error. 😄

It looks like you are on the right path. I would recommend editing your spreadsheet to ONLY include information that needs to be updated to leave the least amount of room for errors. Possibly just the asset number, location, and room.
