I am trying to make tickets for Chromebooks that have physical damage done to them. I DO NOT want to have them to be “Checked In” into our storage. I just need tickets made for each asset. Is there a way to to do this.

If your having difficulty getting them to scan and start the rapid scan screen then I would do what

Next we would attach this custom field to the asset type your repairing. You could apply this to all assets or add a condition so it is only on Model Category: Chromebooks. Then if you have all your assets that need a repair scanned into a CSV all you would need in this file is have the asset tag or serial numbers and then a column for “Summer Repairs” where you set each row to Yes. Then with the power of the asset import tool you can update your new custom field in all your assets that need repair to yes. Last you just need to make a view where your condition of your custom field is yes and you should get all your devices at once.
