@jclark16 Good Morning! If you created the asset group, you can delete the asset group. If you did not create it, you cannot delete it.

Thanks for the quick response! I actually did create this one, but it’s not giving me the option to delete it. Or maybe I’m crazy (that’s always a possibility lol). Is there anywhere that shows who created a group within the UI?
@jclark16 Go ahead and submit a support ticket. They will be able to go into the back end and delete it for you.
For future asset groups created, make sure you are the one that creates and edits it. If you cannot delete them, just reach out to support, they are super helpful!
To be able to go in as an admin and delete asset groups, even if you did not create the group, would be a great idea to see in our Idea Exchange. https://community.incidentiq.com/ideas
Looks like I was not the one who created it, but one of our other admins. I was able to delete it using the API, but I do think it would be good for an admin to be able to do this. I’ll definitely submit the idea. Thanks!
