Deprovision Reason

Forum|alt.badge.img

Is there a way to remove the ‘Reason’ for deprovisioning a device.  We will be deprovisioning the devices for graduating seniors who want to keep their Chromebooks and would like to skip a couple clicks if we can.

iiQ asks the question, but I’m not sure if its prompted through Google.

It’s tied to Google’s API. Now something IIQ could do is utilize this to batch change status of devices including deprovision. Have a menu for selecting the deprovision reason and it applies it to everything in the list.

If I am correct, this is tied to Google Admin Console and how licenses are handled when deprovisioning so it’s not something you can skip. https://support.google.com/chrome/a/answer/3523633?hl=en#zippy=%2Cdeprovision-a-device

@BBrenner 82795ad tk Thank you for submitting your question to our community! 😄

Is this with iiQ or within Google? If it is within Google, that will be a Google Admin question.
