I’m wondering if there is a way to filter assets based on how many currently open tickets they have?  I would like to see any assets with more than 1 open ticket so I can combine them when needed.

@AAllred 16080dc aaps You’ll want to create a new Asset View using a fun little conditional filter called ‘Asset Attribute’:

and then choose ‘Has Open Tickets’:

You may want to refine this further to only ‘Devices’ or other Asset Types, like this:

Hope this helps!

This is a great filter.  Thank you for the screenshots and guide.  Additional questions that kind of adds onto this, can this filter be expanded to choose “How Many” tickets are open?  I don’t think this is currently how it works, but setting a parameters or even a formula such as >2 or =2 would be very helpful.

@AAllred 16080dc aaps My best recommendation for this would be to export the custom view, making certain to have the Asset tag and or s/n as one of the columns. You can then sort by either one, which would place multiple tickets together:

You could also write a =COUNTIF formula to tally how many tickets each asset has open. I know it isn’t ideal having to manipulate in another product, but it is a workaround for the results you seek. @Kathryn Carter I did a quick search to see if we have an open idea that might cover what @AAllred 16080dc aaps is looking for, but didn’t see one. @AAllred 16080dc aaps I encourage you to post this idea within the Idea Exchange. Thanks so much!

@AAllred 16080dc aaps Thank you for submitting your question to our community! 😄 There is not an open idea for this however you can submit that here: https://community.incidentiq.com/ideas

@EStapf_iiQ Thank you for jumping in! This is a great workaround.
