I want to use IIQ for our Federal and State Inventory, which we conduct twice a year.  I would like it to be very similar to the Destiny Library Manager program. We have thousands of items to account for. I want to be able to scan each item consecutively and have the item marked as "Accounted For" to confirm what's physically in the building. For reconciling and addressing discrepancies, I would also need to be able to run reports for everything scanned, so that any missing items can be flagged for replacement, written off, or left pending in case they are found later.

@MaryReed I love that there are so many ways to do things within iiQ. 🤓 When I read your question, my brain immediately went to rapid scan and verifications!!

You can use rapid scan to move from room to room and build a list of assets in each room. Then you can add a ‘manual’ (not completed by an app or rule) verification, which can then be used within custom views. There is a really good article here that helps explain that process:

We also have this webinar that discusses the physical inventory process, verifications, and audit policies.
Booking some time with your CSM could also be a great way for us to help you streamline the processes!

Hope this information helps!

@MaryReed Thank you for submitting your question to our community! 😄

Have you looked into iiQ Resources? This is a perfect example of a use case for Resources!
