We are familiar with and have been using custom fields for the InTune WiFi MAC addresses for some time now.  We are able to easily report on this information.  We are now wanting to report on the ethernet MAC addresses for desktop computers, and can’t see to find a relevant option in the InTune available fields in the integration app.  For example, both JAMF and Google Device apps have both ethernet and wifi MAC address information available.

Any ideas?  Does this feature just not exist?

Hi @matt_prause, thank you for submitting your question. Currently the Intune integration does not bring over Ethernet Mac Address in its list of fields.

You are able to do a bulk import of that information into the system by using the Asset Import tool with a custome field. Just create the Custome Field “Ethernet Mac Address” and then assign it the Models you want it to show for.

Then go to Assets>Import Assets. Download the import template and add a column called Ethernet Mac Address. Put in the Asset tag and corresponding MAC Address that was exported from Intune. Import the CSV file in the Import Assets screen and just make sure the MAC Address field that you added is mapped to the Custome Field.  After going through the import, the devices should now appear on the device profile.

You can also import the information via SFTP on a schedule too.
