Hello!
Can someone tell me what the intended purpose is of the “Assignment” field under “Meta Information” when editing Asset Details?
The devices were bulk imported at the start of the year. I just edited the Asset Details of a Chromebook Asset Tag, but it is requiring me to enter some data into the field.

Sounds like that is a custom field in your assets. Do you have admin rights? I would go to Administration/Custom Fields/Assets and look at the conditions. Do you see Assignment there? If so you can see what the definition is if you click on it in the Field Definitions tab at the top.
