Is there an option to prevent checkout of Assets to Guardians or User roles? We have many Staff that are employees and Guardians and when doing checkout, we mistakenly assign ownership to the Guardian account instead of the Staff account. We can resolve and have a view, but it would be nice to not make the mistake in the first place.
I looked in Policy or Permissions, but not finding a setting.

There is not a specific setting. However, you can set “non-students” with a specific device count. This would be one day to prevent those users since there will be a pop-up.
*Please note this will apply to your teachers, too. Make sure the staff/faculty role will have the ability to be assigned more than zero devices.
Interesting, so my Agents can checkout more than 0 devices to a teacher, but they get a warning. I’ll have to think about that process, the Agents might go ahead and assign it through the warning without catching it is a Guardian.
@nathaniel_lindley Yeah, I thought about that too, however, if you know you are doing a student checkout and you get that warning, it might be a lightbulb moment as well.
I’ll ask the team here what they think about trying that.
