Now that IIQ allows custom asset statuses, it would be great to be able to choose a custom asset status when checking out a device using batch deployment. Currently, the only option is “In Service” which we don’t use for anything.

Hello, @jsmucker! There are some options that may help you with this. For your batch check out devices, you can build a filter that displays devices checked out in a certain period of time and then perform a bulk select status change to your preferred status. Also, when you are doing a Batch Check Out, it builds a list of all the machines - you can do a bulk select there and perform a status change. However, if you’re doing several batch check outs (like multiple lines of students), then each person would need to execute that action at the end. Therefore, it may be easier to do that from a filter afterwards in that case.

Please let me know if I misunderstood your question at all. I hope this helps and please let me know if any of this information needs clarifying.

I can do the batch change. It would just be a lot more convenient if you could choose what status you want from a drop down.
