We are battling students bypassing our web filtering, when they do this our web filter just reports an IP address instead of a username. I know the IP address is in IncidentIQ and that would tie it to a device thus tying it to a student.

Is there anyway to search by IP or MAC address?

@ROddo 377ae38 sloan Thank you for submitting your question to our community! 😄

As of now, your best way to solve this is by filtering by your IP Addresses that are brought over from that custom field:

Another way to search would be to add that IP address into quotes “IP address” and that should give you the information as well. I hope this helps! 😄

@Kathryn Carter Ah I see. I had to go into the Google App and add the IP as a custom field to make it searchable. It’s not searchable unless you make it a custom field.

Thanks!!!
