Wondering if there is a way that I could be able to search a name of a student and then it gives me all the devices that they used in the past. The only thing that I see that is somewhat relevant to this is the devices that were synced but that doesn't really answer the question that well.

You can check out the revisions tab on the user profile. This will give you all the changes made to the user (including devices). However, there is an idea about adding a timeline to the user profile that would be similar to your request:
