Teaching staff Assets Explorer permisstions to see specific assets types.

Question

Hello,

We currently have Teaching staff setup to view assets only assigned to students that are rostered to their classes/classrooms.

They have resently come across some issues checking devices that are left around the classroom that are not assied to their rostered students so they cannot see the device/s.

Is there a way in the Asset Explorer permissions to give them access to say all chromebooks at their assigned location only and not see other assets that are in the Asset Explorer?

Good morning ​@JAllen 9171fa7 rusdThank you for your question, and I hope all is well. To answer your questions, you can go to the teacher's permissions policy and apply a conditional filter for location. From there, they may need additional asset permissions like “List Asset” and “View Asset list and details” to see the devices at the specified location. You can also follow my screenshot below on how to add the conditional filter for location. Please let me know if that helps.
