Hello,

Is there a way that IIQ can track the following information for software/online subscriptions?  Name, Vendor, Purchase/renewal cost, purchase date, subscription start date, subscription end date, number of licenses, cost per license and responsible party?  I know I can set up automatic rules to alert on an expiration date, but would like to move all of this info off of my spreadsheets and use IIQ for all inventory, hardware and software.

Thanks!

@graeme_godzyk Thanks for submitting your question. I often tell the story about how I had an assistant principle that was promoted to being a Principle and she handed me a folder of things she used to do. I didn’t renew a VERY important piece of software. That was the last time I forgot about that!

For me this is the PERFECT use case for Ticket Templates on a Schedule!

Let us know if you have specific questions regarding ticket templates. Hope this helps!

Thank you for asking.

One option i have seen would be creating the license/subscription as a Part. If you did this, then you could set the quantity of how many licenses/subscriptions/etc you have and assign them via a ticket to a user. I have seen districts do this for  Acrobat licenses. It lets them track how many are being used and if more are needed. You can create custom fields on the part for the subscription start date, end date and other needed fields.

Hope this helps!
