User Asset Permissions not working for Mobile App?
I have created a special user group for my organization for Asset Managers. When using the website the users in the group have access to look at asset details, check in/out, view tickets and audit history, etc. When one of those users logs into the IIQ mobile app (android, don’t have an Iphone to test) and scans an asset the only option available is to submit a ticket.
I would like for the users to have the same permissions for the mobile app as the website, does anyone have a fix for this? I’m not sure if maybe it’s just something simple I’m missing.

The permission should be consistent between the web and our iiQ Mobile App. Could you please provide the name of the Permission Policy so that we can investigate further?

“Device Manager Permissions”
@SPalermo 8603c90 ppsb Within the mobile device, are your agents clicking on a device or scanning it to then perform actions on the device?
Just to confirm you would like to see more options:

Scanning is what we were trying, as of right now my asset managers don’t even get the “assets” option on the left side bar on mobile, so I don’t know another way for them to get to an asset. I would love for them to more of the options shown in that last screenshot there.
I also noticed that they can “view tickets” while on mobile and get access to all tickets using the left side bar, but on the desktop app they do not get “tickets” as a left sidebar option. Our current rules should not allow them to have tickets as a visible option but they have it on Mobile.
Just pointing it out as an additional inconsistency while we are looking into it. Problem might be related?
@SPalermo 8603c90 ppsb In that case, I am going to bring in support on this one because it should be lining up. Let me see what I can find and I will get back to you!
@SPalermo 8603c90 ppsb I have been working on this but have been unable to replicate this issue. Is your device up to date & the app updated?
We’re having a similar issue with permissions not being consistent between app and web.
We have users that should only be able to view assets for their location, and the permissions are set as such. If they go to lookup an asset for a different location in global search on web, they get no results.
If they look up the same asset in the mobile app, they can see information about it.
That is so odd @jclark Please submit a ticket to support so we can track and escalate this!
