I see how the Verifying Assets Through My Classes works, but I have a few questions. First, our secondary students are the ones that are 1:1 with the devices.  If we ask teachers to do a check, they only seem to see the results of the “audit”. The next teacher does not already see that it was verified and we as the technology team cannot see that the teacher has done the process?  Do I have a permissions set wrong somewhere?  The very very light green background (needs to be darker!) lets the teacher know at a glance they have already verified the student’s device, but no one else can tell that.

Reports?

Permissions?

What would be good for these Chromebooks would be that if we have Google Verification turned on, that the device shows it as Verified on that screen and if it shows Failed due to no logins or wrong logins, then it would show visibly so the teachers can know which students we really need them to talk to.

I think I am confused on your questions here. Are you trying to figure out the permissions to see the verifications on the devices?

Maybe it is an enhancement request then…

We feel if one teacher verifies it at a high school, that the rest of the teachers should be able to easily see that so as a team, they can help track down the students who are not being verified or help those who failed.  This feature only seems to help that one class.. and not the campus as a whole.

I do think that me having the Google Sync resets it each day, so that may be a problem as well.

@TCunning 583467e pfisd Gotcha, so the MyClasses are going to be only for the room the teacher is assign to and those devices. If you would like them to see the other devices, they will need the view assets & details permission (you can add a location filter to this) so they can see the other devices that are not just the ones assigned to their room. This permission can be added to them as a team by location and you can always revoke it when they don’t need to see the details anymore.

Does that make sense? Does that help?

It would be nice if the “My Classes” page could include the last verification date/audit status. It just shows student name & the asset list. In order to see the verification info, the teachers would need to look up the device and/or have an asset view created based on something like… courses? Homeroom?
