I’m wondering if there is clarification on what the “Is Retired?” field in the Asset Status Details is doing on the system end of things. If “Is Retired?” = Yes, does the system do anything with that information on the back end?

I’m wondering if there is clarification on what the “Is Retired?” field in the Asset Status Details is doing on the system end of things. If “Is Retired?” = Yes, does the system do anything with that information on the back end?

Thank you for your question! It marks the date when the device is updated to that status as a “retired date” and allows for organization/separation of assets that are distinguished as retired. Using the “is retired” toggle does not cause the asset record to appear in the Deleted Assets section. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
