I am trying to figure out how to put or link my assets from my ticketing windows over to the Events portal of IIQ. Basically, I want to know if I can use the projectors I’ve put into IIQ in the Events side of things? That way if someone needs a projector they can select one?
I believe your best option would be to create a custom field on your event requests. They will not be able to select the specific one unless you list them out in a drop down field. You could also make a yes/no field for do you request a projector.

Great question! My suggestion would be to create a custom field within the events ticketing that will ask for any technical requirements for the event. In the example here they use a MultiSelect Yes/No question specifically for the projector.
Once that is added as a custom field we can create some rule sets that will trigger a ticket to your team or agent who is responsible for providing the projector or any other technical requirements.
