I need to be able to run a report that shows all students without an assigned device. Is there a way to do this?

@WLewis 577560b rolla31 Thank you for submitting your question.

There is a way to do this! Head over to Users Explorer and hit new filter. When you add a filter, you are going to search “User Attribute” then “Has Assigned Device”. If you are going to want to see the student list without devices, make sure to hit “Exclude Selected”. This will give you a list of students without assigned devices. You can also filter by location if needed. When you are ready to export, hit the sandwich in the top right corner and hit export

I hope this helps 😄

@WLewis 577560b rolla31, the Has assigned device is useful if you assign only 1 device to a user.

If you assign a Chromebook and a Hotspot for example, you can’t use that filter to differentiate.

There is a feature request for being able to filter users’ assigned devices by model if you want to vote it up :)

Has this filter been renamed or removed? I can’t find it in any filter group.

@TGarbers 833fa1 trinitybasin Try “User Attribute” then “has assigned device” 😄
