Hello,

Is there a way to not have users be auto-assigned a location? We have multiple buildings and I’m finding people putting in work orders for buildings they are not in because they’re auto-assigned to a building. Ideally, that would be the first step in entering a work order, choose your location.

I do have hesitation of not auto assigning locations because you have multiple products Ticketing and Facilities. And that auto assigning locations I assume would be necessary on the Ticketing product side.

You could create a custom field that are applied to these tickets were it requires the user submitting to select the location.

Our problem is that we have multiple admins creating tickets for multiple locations. We often have them assign a ticket for a building and then type in the correct building because they don’t know how to choose the correct one or just forget to. It would be ideal for them to choose the building before they do anything else.

Gotcha. I like that idea to have that be required and first step. I would suggest adding that to our idea exchange so our product team is aware of this request. 😁
