Drop Down Options for Emailing an Invoice

In our setup, we email the invoices we create to the student’s building secretary, and they handle reaching out to the family. When selecting the email invoice option, there is only a text box to type in what email addresses to send it to. This leaves opportunity for typos and then it doesn’t get to the intended recipient. It would be awesome if there was a drop down selection option. This could be something you set up within the Fee Tracker settings (something like commonly used recipients) or even a drop down containing all staff members to search out of.

Hi @CPrice 5335a57 donegalsd, Thanks for reaching out regarding the email options when sending a Fee Tracker invoice. We do currently have the ability to bring in this data from your SIS.
@athaxton_iiQ Gave me this awesome piece of information a little while ago now and it comes in handy ALL the time!
To be able to email parent/guardian users, districts will need to make sure that the guardian record from the SIS is associated with the student record in the information being sent over to us. From their Users.csv file they are sending over, it doesn't look like they have the parent's Sourcedld value in the agentsourcedld column and it doesn't look like they have the student's sourcedld in the parent's agentsourcedld column either. They will want to ensure that information is added to the AgentsourcediD column.

This is something you can submit a support ticket on if you need additional assistance getting this set up in your SIS.
Once completed, your screen to email statement will look like this and the boxes can then just be checked instead of typing or copy/paste, streamlining the process:

Hope this helps!

Your suggestion is for a parent or guardian. That’s not who I’m sending them to. I’m sending them to the building secretary of the school the student attends.

@CPrice 5335a57 donegalsd  Apologies for my misunderstanding.
We do have this open idea, which is similar, but not quite since you would be looking for a list of bookkeepers, which would be iiQ users as well:

or this one which suggests pulling the email from a custom field:

@Kathryn Carter, (knower of open ideas!) may also have others she knows about or will open this one as new. Thanks so much for taking the time to submit your idea!
