How do I add/remove fields from the "Describe your issue" screen?

We don’t need all these questions to be listed on this screen:

  • How can I remove some of these questions? For example, the request for a room number?
  • Can I edit the text that appears there?
  • Can I add my own questions?

Thanks.

Update 2:

Found that you can turn the option on/off for “Room” and a few other details via Site Options:

You can’t change the verbiage as it appears on the ticket, but you can at least disable it.

Update: Adding fields looks like may be part of the “Custom Fields” section, and then click the “Tickets” tab at the top. You have to first create it using the “Field Definitions” tab and THEN apply to tickets based on the ticket type, as indicated on the “Tickets” tab.

Still not seeing an option to remove fields that are NOT custom fields, however. Will update if I find out...

@zige Glad to see you found another answer for yourself! 😄

Custom fields are awesome because you can customize what the ticket details include. Way to go!
