What type of part permission do you give to your agents so they can add a part to the ticket that they are working on but not anything else?

Hi @ekang  Thank you so much for your question. 
Fortunately, this is an easy setting to adjust. Head to Site Options under your Administration tab. Within Site Options, in the ticketing section, you can click the "Enable Parts Management". This will allow your agents to use parts within tickets.
