If this question has already been brought up, forgive me for digging it back up.

 

Is it possible to create a ticket template (with the perk of being able to attach an asset to the ticket) but make it accessible on your dashboard like a quick ticket?

Looks like you are wanting a hybrid of the two functions, am I understanding that correctly? 


Correct. We love the “quick” functionality of a quick ticket, but automation for our district’s assets tend to work best in a direct ticket or ticket template.


@JBrown 510fc30 misd Gotcha so at this time, the best work around for you would be to add a required custom field to those quick tickets that requires your user to add their asset tag. It will add an extra step for the person working the ticket to assign the asset but this way at least you know the exact asset it works with. I hope this helps 😄


I work around this by bookmarking my templates, but I really like this idea!
