Rules on a Schedule, what is the schedule?

Forum|alt.badge.img+6

For rules triggered on a schedule, is there a place that I create the schedule or is it a predetermined schedule and if so what is it?

You choose the schedule when you setup the rule.  Below is one of mine:

Ah, that’s what I was missing, I was looking to put the schedule in at the triggers on section, and didn’t see a schedule on when, thanks.

@Belcher.shane

I cannot find the “send alert to team” its seems the only option under scheduling for assets is “assignee” or a single email address.

On mine, it is right near the top.  See below:

Do you have any teams created?  If so, then I have no idea why that option wouldn’t be there.

Yep, lots of Teams. But I think options change based on they type of focus - user vs. assets for example.

You are right, there isn’t a team option under asset scheduling rules, I’ve done mine from Ticketing Tickets instead of Ticketing assets.  Is there a reason you are scheduling the rule there instead of under tickets?

I did it under Assets because we do not require a ticket to get a loaner device.

Understood.  Well, since there are no teams on the assets side you are kind of out of luck.  Being that it is a scheduled email though, it doesn’t seem like it would matter to you where the schedule resided if you still wanted to use the “send to a team option”

@vince
Could still set the action “Send email to the user” and use the Specific user option. And send it to each individual team member.
