It’s common for us in the tech department to submit tickets on behalf of users. I am noticing that we are receiving email notifications for tickets, even when we are no longer a follower on the ticket. Is this normal?

Thanks!

@MLocke 773d4ae eacs Thank you for submitting your question to our community! 😄

When someone creates a new ticket, they will be emailed. Additionally, the user who submits the ticket will be automatically added as a follower. After that, you can adjust notifications via site options.

Most settings can also be adjusted per user via the options on the dashboard.

Every submission has everyone you want to be notified by a new ticket.  Assigned, and followers get notifications during the ticket.  I'm sure you could change it, but I can't figure that out right now.

Ok thanks! I’ll need to advice everyone to change the submitter to the end user then.
