Starting last week, I have two users who cannot add any followers during ticket creation. Even when fully typing out someone’s name/email, they just receive a ‘no users found’ notification. After creating a ticket, there’s also no option to add any followers as well, the tab seems to be missing entirely. It should be noted that these two users seem to use each other as followers when making tickets.

Before last week, they did not have this issue at all. My IIQ Admin checked out one of their accounts, but found nothing amiss. We thought that this could have just been a temporary glitch, but its been persisting for over a week. I thought that this might have been a side effect of one of these persons making tickets in the facilities section of Incident IQ, but it seems to also occurring in the main ticketing section of IQ as well. I would appreciate any suggestions that you might have.

@LGleason 4731836 hampton Thank you for submitting your question to our community! 😄

Have you submitted a ticket to support yet? Additionally, I will need the two users emails to look into this.

I have a staff member with the same issue. The see the option to add followers, but the list does not populate.

I’ll get a support ticket submitted once I confirm the issue is still present.

Does your user have the permission to view users? The list might not populate if they can’t see other users.

@Kathryn Carter She’s in our “staff” member global list, and that group does not seem to have any user permissions. I didn’t think to look there since she had been able to add followers previously, and I don’t think any of us have changed permission settings.

Might be a department meeting topic...

@AMeyer Greendale Schools Did this change happen when you switched to Permissions V2? Bring this up tomorrow in Open Office Hours as well! This is a great topic for us to review and get other perspectives/ideas on it.

@Kathryn Carter You ask this like I would know 😅 Nothing’s changed with permissions in the last month that I’m aware of - I’d have to ask!

@AMeyer Greendale Schools Let’s connect on this tomorrow in Open Office Hours 😆

I also have users who are unable to assign followers at ticket creation.

@HillaryMo If you haven’t, you may want to submit a ticket to the iiQ support team. My impacted staff are good to go today, but I’m waiting to hear back from iiQ to determine if this was an issue we could have fixed on our side.

@HillaryMo Please submit a ticket to support this. They will be able to remedy this issue. Thanks!

We have the same issue.  A ticket has been submitted.  Teachers are unable to keep the Parents informed of what is going one.
We’ve had this issue as well before and reported it (it was a different type of scenario).
It still isn’t fixed or it was an incomplete resolution.

I reached out to our team and was given an update. The user in question needs the “list users” permission added to their policy. I hope this helps @HillaryMo @AMeyer Greendale Schools @LGleason 4731836 hampton

Now I know what to double-check next time.

The user in question was classified as “Staff”, and I see “list users” for staff now - but this may have been fixed by iiQ support for us.

@AMeyer Greendale Schools I believe this is the fix they would deploy.

@Kathryn Carter Is this a newly-added permission? Not seeing it on the guide below, and would expect staff role users to typically get this permission by default (although perhaps there’s some case to be made against that).

@DLeyden 4909d0d pca As we continue to enhance our permissions and give you more options, more singular permissions are being added. We are working to keep the documentation updated to the best of our ability as we learn along side you! Thank you for your patience.
