Our district recently got iPads for repair techs to use when doing repairs, especially to attach images of damaged devices to existing tickets. When going to add images in a comment on the iPad app, either through the “Take Photo” or “Add from Photo Library” options, it does not work. Sometimes it loads for a second or two but never adds the image into the comment. We have tested on multiple iPads, all with the most recent iPad OS and most recent IIQ app version, all permissions are available. We also tested changing the image format and that did not resolve it either.
I’m assuming these devices are managed by an MDM?
Can you try with a completely unmanaged device?
I’ve occasionally had issues with my phone, but it’s low on storage and I attribute oddities to that.
These devices are managed, but our MDM guy said there was nothing on the logs and these devices were very minimally managed at the time of testing, but we could try it
I asked about unmanaged since I sometimes ran into odd issues with managed devices in my previous district. Our MDM guy - and I - wouldn’t see anything that SHOULD cause problems, but an unmanaged device would be fine so we’d go digging.
