Good Morning,

Media Specialist would like to request a field to enter notes on a user.  There is a filed that exists however, we would have to grant them higher access such as edit user information. Curious as to how other Districts add notes to the user.

@RoseHamlinCFB Thank you for submitting your idea. I have converted this comment into a conversation so other users can provide their feedback and work arounds!

@RoseHamlinCFB - Good morning and Happy Monday! I wanted to explore the use case around this suggested enhancement a bit further if you had some more information.

Could you tell me a bit more about the process for when this would occur (is this for a particular issues/ticket types/etc)? Also, are there other personnel in the district that have similar “notes” recording requirements on user profiles or are media specialists really the only exception that would require additional permissions enhancements?

Happy to schedule a zoom call as well if this would be easier to discuss “in person” as it were.  Have a great day!

Best regards,
John

Hi!
Our agents would like to enter notes such as “never returned a charger” or student damaged 10 Chromebooks this year”.  It is mostly our Library Media Specialist that are requesting this.

This is something we are interested in as well.  We’ve used the notes section for each user in Destiny to make note of damages and lost devices and I’m not finding a place to put such info in IIQ except in the Fines/Fees area and entering $0 as the amount.

@AJennings 2039489 daretolearn This is how many of our districts are using it as a workaround! Additionally, if you have Rollout Scout, custom fields can be displayed for your users with this information if chosen to include it.

Thank you Kathryn! I will try adding a custom field in Rollout Scout.
