View/Alert of Fee Tracker balances

Forum|alt.badge.img+1

This may be an enhancement request.

Previous product, the fees followed the user and our registrar’s or campus admin’s could see that they owe for something when they try to withdraw or register at another campus.  I don’t feel I can ask them to run a report each time to see if the student is on the list. They are already on the screen to see if the student has any prior equipment still checked out. I really want them to be able to see the Fee Tracker information as well without making them agents.

How are others addressing this?

@TCunning 583467e pfisd I am thinking that since the fee is added to the device instead of the student. I see how frustrating it would be not to see it on the student account. Here is an idea to check out about adding the user timeline to see all of that on the user profile (devices and fees):

@TCunning 583467e pfisd Thank you for submitting your question to our community! 😄

You are able to give permissions for the user to see the users and their profiles without changing their roles. Users/ View Users List & Details. This will allow them to see each user’s profile.

I hope this helps!

Will look again, but so far none of them let the end user see it on all users (including No Access).

@TCunning 583467e pfisd Looking at one person on your registrar team, the user should be able to see the Fee Tracker information on the user profile. Can you provide a screenshot of what the user is seeing?

@TCunning 583467e pfisd I just wanted to follow up on this thread.

Student shows no fees becuase the device is no longer assigned, so the end user sees nothing. The fee is on the device.  The student has currently enrolled in another school and that school could not see anything that she owed fees, so they assigned her another chromebook.

@Kathryn Carter Yes, I have been using the Revisions and Timelines to troubleshoot accoutn lisses like that, but I don’t feel I can ask our campus registrars to check that for every student that enrolls.. ;-( Would just like it be more user friendly.
