Hello Everyone! My name is Kathryn Carter and I am the newest member of the Community Team. You might have already seen my name floating around community with answering questions and opening ideas. I am thankful for the opportunity to help our community members in their workflows and use of our technology. As a former elementary teacher, I understand the needs of the classroom, especially in our classrooms today.Ā
When I am not online, I am outside playing on ropes courses, making homemade lattes and enjoying the sunshine with my husband and 2 dogs.Ā Ā Ā
Looking forward to connecting with you all!Ā
Hello Iām Stacey Pittsinger and Iām a IT Support Technician for Montville Public Schools in Connecticut.Ā We switched to IIQ a year ago and so far so good.Ā We were using SpiceWorks.Ā I like that we have a single solution that we use for IT and Facilities.Ā No longer do I have to tell our teachers that itās not my job to fix their electrical outlet.Ā .Ā I also like that now we can route tickets to the appropriate team member based on location or category.Ā Ā Ā Have a great year everyone!
Hi @STPittsinger! It is great that you have one place within iiQ to go for your technical needs and Facilities. Also, assigning tickets to certain people makes it much more seamless for your support people. Welcome to community, and we hope you get the most out of the collaboration within community!
I am Lawrence Preedom currently from South Jefferson CSD in NY. I am the Micro Computer Technician for the district and am constantly utilizing IIQ ticketing system along with The inventory system. I love the integration with Google and Jamf that allows me to see device metadata in IIQ and be able to share that information with the Helpdesk to aid them in supporting our customers.

Ideas, experince, and making IIQ work better for us all
@MCoogan 3706a6b tamaquasdĀ Welcome to the community, Mike! Looking forward to seeing what you bring to our community.Ā
Hello all!Ā Brian Hudson here, and though Iāve been active on the idea exchange for a few years now, just now getting around to an intro (fashionably late)!Ā Iām a 20 year Technology Tech at Chatham County Schools in North Carolina.Ā
Weāve been using IIQ for almost 3 years now, and the biggest change to our old helpdesk system was the ability to integrate billing for students and staff, directly into the ticketing system.Ā What an absolute life saver that was!
Iām very much a cat person, but unfortunately just lost my AlbertĀ at the end of last year.Ā But he had such a great life and gave me great company for 10+ years.Ā Iāve dabbled in various trades, including Pro Wrestling, drumming in a rock band, performing magic, and Iāve obviously settled into IT for the long haul!Ā I very much believe in what we do, both for students and staff at schools, and though many of us may linger behind the curtains, or lurk in the shadows of back corners of our schools...trust me, it couldnāt be done without us all!
I really enjoy Incident IQ, the community, and the amazing ideas and the way it embraces the community and itās ideas.Ā I look forward to continuing to back your ideas, creating some of my own, and working with everyone!
@HurricaneHĀ Glad to see you introduce yourself to everyone! Looking forward to seeing what you continue to bring to our community!Ā
