Anyone run into this authentication error when trying to set up PowerSchool?

Sorry, we could not authenticate the provided PowerSchool Consumer Key or Consumer Secret.

I am doing a copy/paste of the OAuth Credentials directly from the Data Provider Configuration in PowerSchool.

The access level for v1 APIs is Read Access.

What am I missing?

No, I only needed to configure the one API. I was just uploaded the one xml file that I thought it needed but then I figured out it needed the entire zip file to be uploaded to PowerSchool.

Hope that helps.

One step forward and one step back….

I started over and downloaded the plugin again, uploaded the new one, and was able to get past the setup portion.

When I try to sync, I get this error

  • ERROR: Can't connect to Remote Service. The requested resource (https://XXX.powerschool.com/ws/schema/query/com.incidentiq.sis.courses) could not be found. Please check credentials and app settings.

@esam Thank you for submitting your question to our community! 😄

Glad you were able to figure it out before I was able to get there!

Hi, what do you mean by this? You needed to unzip the files and configure multiple APIs to PowerSchool?

I know this is an old thread, but I am running into the same error.  I did upload the entire zip file.  The error “Sorry, we could not authenticate the provided PowerSchool Consumer Key or Consumer Secret” persists.  I will try regenerating the secret.
