The first line of text on our asset label is right at the bleeding edge of the label.  Some of our Dymo labels are also at the bleeding edge of the printing so the upper half of that first line of text is cut off.  Any way to adjust the template to have the lines of text be printed more towards the middle of the label?

Hi @JAiello 3501f07 sd13 ,

Is it possible for you to send a picture of what the label looks like? And I assume if you are using the template, you have tried to adjust the width and height to fit the size of the label you are using. Is that correct?

JLee, yes I’ve tried everything I could think of.  Above, the top pic is the label from the original roll of labels.  See how the Bloomingdale top line is right at the top edge of the label?  The next pic is of the label with the new roll of labels which is just off and the Bloomingdale line is off the top edge.  If only there is a way that all the lines could be moved down from the top edge.

Thanks, James Aiello

Are you utilizing the Asset Label feature to customize these in Site Options? I'm asking because we currently have an open beta for our new "Label Templates" feature, but I noticed that your district is not part of the beta group.

Hannah,

No, I wasn’t aware of the Site Options.  Another discovery for me!  Thanks for making me aware of it.  Unfortunately it doesn’t let us to move all the fields of the label down from the top edge of the label.  If the label text was moved down 1/8” it would allow a slight gap between the top edge of the label and the text of the first line with a 1/8” gap between the last line of text and the bottom edge of the label.

I would love for us to join the open beta for the new “Label Templates” feature.  What would be involved in us joining?

Thanks again,

James Aiello

@JAiello 3501f07 sd13 It looks like our beta for the “label templates” is closed for now; however, knowing it is coming out of beta soon is excellent news for you! Please keep an eye out on our Community for additional updates!

For your issue know, is there a setting on the printer that could control that? I am not sure if there is an option but could be something to look into 😄
