I am trying to change model information to create a standard model scheme.  I have created the custom fields but when i try to delete the previous model field and move assets to the custom model it says it can delete because tickets are assigned to them.  Is it possible to bulk remove the dependent tickets from the asset so i can change the model field?

@VWillis 23030d1 tisd Thank you for submitting your question to our community! 😄

First, I would submit a ticket to support, I believe they will be able to help with the bulk data adjustments. In the meantime, I would like to understand your process more. The custom fields are on the model or the asset?

I am trying to clean up the models and some models i want to move from a catalog item to a custom item.  It will not let me because the model\asset is linked to a ticket.

@VWillis 23030d1 tisd Alright, just so I understand the ask:

You want to move assets to the custom models instead of the iiQ Global catalog model but you cannot move them since there is a ticket attached? I just want to ensure we are looking at the same issue :)

that is correct

@VWillis 23030d1 tisd Thanks for your clarification. I think the best path moving forward will be to deactivate the global model and only use the custom model moving forward. Unfortunately, we are unable to apply this change in bulk to the tickets and models. Please note that updating them individually will require a significant amount of manual effort on your end.

If you are looking to build reports, I would suggest building a report using both models for back data.
