We are in the process of onboarding to Incident IQ Asset Management and are trying to impliment the most efficient labeling process that works for us. We would like to leverage a QR code that, when scanned, will launch the IIQ App on our phones and bring us directly to the device. Now, I can add the link to the device in IIQ and it launches a web page that brings me to a view of the device but it is not very smooth or seemless. Is this something anyone has done, or am I just way out there in wanting something like this?

I love this idea! I do know that the Camera within the iiQ app can also read the QR code, does your staff utilize the App??

I think most will end up using the app. However, for quick reference I was hoping that we could just scan the code and it would trigger the app to launch to the device without having to have it opened prior. I was able to create a hyperlink that will bring you to the mobile version of the device’s page in Chrome and Safari, just haven’t been able to get it into the app.

@EMontgomery 753f136 jdcsd Gotcha, that would be an enhancement request that you can submit here: https://community.incidentiq.com/ideas

However, your best option would be to have your team use the mobile app! 😄
