What is the easiest and fastest way to checkout multiple assets to a single user?  i.e.  a classroom set of chromebooks to a specific teacher

If you have the assets license, and the physical assets in your possession, I think using rapid scan would be the easiest way. Scan all the assets with an attached barcode scanner then check them out in bulk using batch actions.  (Also supported in the mobile app)

If not handling the assets physically, copy and paste serial numbers of asset tags from a spreadsheet into the corresponding filter  (up to 100 at a time) and bulk assign or use the spreadsheet importer.

Without having Roll Out Scout (an asset module add-on upcharge), an import listing the teacher as the owner would likely be your only option.

I don’t think rollout scout is an upcharge, I’m pretty sure it just has to be turned on within your client.
